In The Mood (Buellton, CA) – Firestone Walker’s Barrelworks has an exciting new collaboration that it did with Sante Adairius Rustic Ales, whose co-founders Adair Paterno and Tim Clifford have created one of the nation’s most notable wild beer programs at their brewery in Capitola, California. Firestone Walker Big Mood is an 8.1% ABV a Wild Ale that was crafted with Sante Adairius’ special yeast, 2,000 pounds of Blenheim apricots, aged for six months, and then blended with several with a special selection of barrel-aged wine hybrids, all made with local Santa Barbara County white wine grapes.
